Meet the founder

 Marsja Stearnes, Ph.D. (she/her), is a mixed methods researcher with a background in clinical psychology and the founder of The UXR Lab. Her motivation behind creating The UXR Lab is rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion of underrepresented researchers in tech. She is particularly interested in creating inclusive and affirming training environments that empower aspiring UX researchers regardless of their level of expertise. Marsja has experience with building virtual mental health spaces and end-to-end product management. Additionally, she is devoted to supporting underrepresented user groups and collaborating with community stakeholders to inspire change and drive impact throughout the product design process.
